Notable projects
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from early-stage startups to global brands. This collection highlights some of the work I've enjoyed the most or am particularly proud of. Each project presented its own challenges and reflects a different stage of my career, interests, and approach to building digital products.
Kees de Boekhouder & Founders
Scaled a technology-driven bookkeeping platform from a fast-growing startup into a mature digital product organisation. As Head of Product, I led product strategy and technical evolution across customer-facing applications and internal systems, focusing on automation, usability, security and operational efficiency.
Key initiatives included rebuilding core platforms, modernising back-office workflows, introducing AI-powered automation, and launching the Founders brand. The products supported the company's growth from hundreds to more than 11,000 clients while maintaining a strong focus on quality and maintainability.
Tony's Chocolonely Website & Webshop
Rebuilt the digital platform for Tony's Chocolonely with Studio Sugarfree (now lets-book.com), combining a highly interactive brand experience with a full e-commerce webshop. The previous WordPress-based website had reached its limits, and the new platform introduced a custom-built, responsive experience that better reflected Tony's distinctive visual identity, mission, and growing product range.
I contributed to the front-end development of the new platform, translating designs into a rich, animated user experience. The website used custom interactive components, motion design, and playful transitions to bring the brand to life while maintaining a smooth shopping experience across marketing pages, product discovery, and checkout flows.
Tommy Hilfiger Digital Showroom
Delivered the first version of Tommy Hilfiger's Digital Showroom, an internal digital product designed to modernise the global fashion sales experience. The platform replaced traditional showroom workflows with an interactive digital environment where collections could be presented, explored and managed by sales teams and buyers.
I led the technical delivery of the initial product and remained responsible for its evolution and maintenance after launch. The solution was first deployed at Tommy Hilfiger's Amsterdam showroom and later expanded to support global offices, becoming part of the company's international sales infrastructure.
Award winning sites
Between 2008 and 2014, I worked on a series of digital experiences for internationally recognised brands. Many of these projects were featured by Awwwards and The FWA, reflecting an era when the web was rapidly evolving and interactive experiences pushed the boundaries of what browsers could do.

Eccky
An award-winning social game built for MSN Messenger, where two players raised a virtual child together. Each child evolved based on player interactions and could be chatted with directly through Messenger, making Eccky one of the earliest large-scale conversational digital experiences in the Netherlands. I worked on the project from its public launch and remained part of the team for several years, contributing to its continued development and operation.
